Venezuela is a country on the northern coast of South America that has beautiful beaches, jungles and mountains. On the Caribbean coast are tropical resort islands including Isla de Margarita and the Los Roques. In the northwest part of the country are the Andes Mountains and the colonial town of Mérida, a base for hiking Sierra Nevada National Park. Caracas, the capital, is a very large city in the northern part of the country. Venezuela has suffered the devastating effects of a communist regime, first under a leftist dictator Huge Chavez then following his death another communist tyrant Nicolas Maduro. The crime rate in Caracas is one of the highest in the world and economy is in shambles. There are shortages of food and the communist regime is becoming more repressive by the day imprisoning anyone who speaks out against them. Venezuelans have left the country in droves due to the repression and headed for countries such as the United States, Panama and the Dominican Republic. We conduct investigations throughout Venezuela but it is extremely difficult due to the government of Venezuela and the very high crime rate.
